Gordonvale State High School is located 25 minutes south of Cairns. The school is a Year 7-12 High School catering to the needs of 800 students. Our school motto is: Strive to Excel.

The school’s agriculture program is our “point of difference” in the Cairns area and is popular with students from grades 7 to 12.

The successful applicant will be working as part of our Science and Technology teams and will be responsible for teaching classes in:

• Year 7-10 Food and Fibre production strand of the Australian Curriculum – Technology syllabus
• Year 11-12 Agricultural Practices
• An additional teaching area would be an advantage.
