Proseal part of the JBT Inc Group Proseal is the food industries leader in tray sealing technology, manufacturing and supporting their machines globally following their inception twenty years ago in the UK. Continued growth throughout the world has seen the opening of key manufacturing operations in USA and Australia. The Australian operation has been based out of Victoria since 2008 where the vast majority of employees are based providing manufacturing, sales, spares and service support to over 300 machines supplied to the Australian and NZ market place. JBT Inc have recently acquired the Proseal business as part of their continued growth strategy to be a key supplier throughout the many processes within the food industry. With continued growth in the operations in the Australasian region Proseal Australia require an additional sales person to join the team. They will be based out of the Tullamarine, VIC factory and work under the Sales Manager. The role will involve the managing of a territory including other states and also overseas travel a few times a year to assist the Proseal global operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company and to become an integral part of the future success of the company. Proseal Australia works closely with other machinery manufacturers who complement the Proseal solutions and also representatives within the packaging industry to ensure Proseal are always at the forefront of innovation and technology solutions.Sales Engineer Attributes Proseal Australia are looking for a disciplined, positive thinking and driven person to join their expanding sales team. The person needs to be self-motivated and capable of working alone and as part of a professional sales team.  Ideally applicants should have a technical or engineering background and previous sales experience preferably within the food industry, although we believe it is about the right person with the right attitude. The role will require working with existing customers and generating new relationships via cold call, attending shows or market research. Sales strategy will be devised in conjunction with the Sales Manager and the role will incorporate additional functions as detailed below Successful Sales Applicant The successful applicant will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package including base salary reflective of the applicant’s capabilities and experience with added annual bonus and company vehicle. They will also join a diversive and inclusive workplace who are committed to providing opportunities for everyone in a friendly and flexible working environment  Direct Sales Engaging with new and existing customers by telephone, email and site visits to discuss previous, ongoing or live projectsProviding technical quotations and pricing for customer enquiriesProviding turnkey solutions in conjunction with the Victorian based Project EngineersEngage with customers throughout the whole sales cycleGenerate company revenue in New goods, spares and service orders at maximised turnover and margin valuesProcess sales orders and ensure technical specifications are completed in conjunction with Project Management, Operations and service for the successful supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of projects meeting or exceeding customers’ demands and expectations Sales AdministrationField all incoming sales related calls and provide comprehensive and quick responses to enquiries including generating application quotes Managing a Sales database including data entry for customers and quotes for forecastingCold call / Lead generation for prospective new customersFollow up calls for historic projects and customers  In House WorkCarry out testing of products / generating samples for customer presentation. RFQ and process sales specifications and enquiries for OEM’sWork with sales team on strategy / markets to work with in growing the business ExhibitionsHelp co-ordinate all Australian based exhibitions organisation including all planning as part of the application and running of the event. Research Australian and overseas shows to exhibit at and present recommendations for discussion and justificationOrganise stand layout and ensure machinery / stationary / display boards / promotional material are all available for the event. Pre-exhibition calls to arrange customer meetings and raise awareness of participation at the event prior to the showWork with JBT and Proseal UK in standardising on stand design and also branding of the stand to tie in to current JBT / Proseal UK marketing philosophyAttend all days of the show including set up and break downCollation and follow up of show leads MarketingWork with JBT / Proseal UK Marketing on press releases to be distributed through various Australian media (electronic and hard copy) and added to UK websiteWork with Australian publications and organisations ie APPMA in advertisingAttend association functions / meetingsOrganise all promotional material to be kept in stock and forward ordered with Proseal UKWork on company branding in conjunction with JBT / Proseal UK Marketing but also specifically tailored to the Australian market General DutiesManage demonstration stock, ensure it is kept clean and up to date and available for demonstration within area in the factoryAssist with Proseal Australia factory visits for customers and suppliersWork with Packaging suppliers as a point of contact with sales.Work with third party OEM’s in ensuring all sales and marketing material is up to date and latest pricing and machine specification material is available
