Barminco is one of the world’s largest, hard rock mining companies with over three decades of experience. We are currently developing over 120 kilometres per year, and mining above 10 million tonnes on our multi-million-dollar fleet of underground mining equipment. With new projects forecasted, this will see Barminco and AUMS grow to over 4,300 employees in 2021.

We’re looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team on a 7:7 roster, FIFO from Perth.

With support from our operations team, you will be a visible and respected site leader. With a sharp focus on safety, you will lead and enable your team to achieve performance targets.

  • Key Requirements;

  • Ensure mining operations are conducted in a safe manner, and any safety issues are promptly reported to the Underground Foreman and Site Project Manager
  • Perform the daily supervision of the working areas of the mine, in accordance with all relevant Acts and Regulations
  • Conduct daily work planning / toolbox meetings
  • Liaise with any contractors on site, ensuring their work is coordinated with other mining activities
  • Possession of a current WA Underground Shift Supervisor Certificate is essential.
  • Valid Manual Australian Driver’s Licence
  • National Police clearance (within 6 months)
  • The successful candidates will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening prior to an Offer of Employment being made.
