The Role:

A WW Virtual Community Coach channels a passion for a healthy lifestyle into inspiring others at every step of their wellness and weight loss journeys.

In this role you will help WW members develop healthy habits from eating healthier, sleeping better to shifting their thinking to encompass a holistic wellness mindset. You will be responsible for coaching members towards reaching their wellness goals using the WW program and behavior change techniques through a digital community platform. Coaches will form strong online communities via a live virtual experience, weekly videos and will develop and share wellness content across social platforms.

As a WW Virtual Community Coach you would serve as an active evangelist for the WW brand, driving new member recruitment efforts, engaging and inspiring our member community and increasing the brand’s sphere of awareness and exposure by building meaningful social media profiles.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment, Retention, and WW Business:

  • Facilitate and host live virtual experiences for members. 
  • Create an inclusive, engaging, and action oriented virtual community to encourage retention.
  • Exemplify ownership mindset, leveraging personal connections, social media and other mediums to engage with the WW community and support member recruitment and retention.
  • Support marketing initiatives for program launches through social media content creation.
  • Live the WW lifestyle and be authentically committed to health and wellness.
  • Effectively communicate WW value to members and consumers via content creation. 
  • Content Creation and Delivery: 

  • Create meaningful content to cultivate and drive member activation and increase revenue.
  • Deepen members’ understanding of behavior change techniques through authentic, personalised storytelling and engaging members in a tailored way. 
  • Create daily content designed to teach members new skills aligned to the WW program.
  • Create weekly content designed to share aspects of WW lifestyle with followers and to attract potential new members across all social media channels.
  • Use data and learnings from WW Virtual Community platform to interact with members to facilitate larger group discussions.
  • Create a supportive community by facilitating member-to-member interactions and discussions. 
  • Behavior Change Coaching:

  • Inspire members to build healthy habits using behavior change coaching principles.
  • Respond to members virtual community posts with purpose, encouraging members to reflect, learn, problem solve and create action plans. 
  • Engage with members empathetically, demonstrating positive regard, respect and understanding for where they are on their journey.
  • Guide members to develop awareness of their eating, activity, sleep and mindset patterns. Assist members to identify small behavioural shifts to move them closer to their goals. 
  • Coach members on scientifically proven behaviour change strategies and leverages their internal resources and external support to reach their wellness goals.
  • Deliver Personalised Experience:

  • Use WW’s Coach Tech dashboard to identify and respond to members’ needs.
  • Deliver weekly behavior change curriculum and original content in a manner that is relevant to the member and/or group. 
  • Skills/Attributes/Qualifications

  • Qualifications in Nutrition, Health, Wellness or Fitness with commensurate experience.
  • Portfolio of health, wellness, nutrition or fitness social media content.
  • Coaching experience (skill coaching – focus on supporting members to be successful on a wellness journey and developing strategies that allow members to find their own best solutions) preferred 
  • Passion for wellness and healthy lifestyle, and supporting others to achieve wellness and weight management goals.
  • Experience with media training and video creation.
  • Passion for WW brand and embraces the WW program or is ready to.
  • Places high value on encouraging sustainable, science-backed approaches to wellness. Can easily separate facts from fads and provide guidance to others on how to do the same.
  • Comfortable communicating and sharing a personal wellness journey through digital medium to show members and potential members how you “live the brand” and to reinforce behaviour change principles.
  • Verbal and written English language business proficiency.
