We are currently seeking the following role for our Western Sydney (Huntingwood) plant in a permanent full-time capacity:

1 x Weekend Crew Electrician – 12 hours Shift (Friday, Saturday and Sunday, plus every 6th Monday)

What will your role include?

Carrying out repairs and maintenance on all machinery during Site downtime and performing Preventative Maintenance tasks to ensure the plant equipment runs to the highest achievable levels. Troubleshoot, test and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and equipment.Working in compliance with quality and safety systems.Recording maintenance carried out and corrective work in the CMMS

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Commitment to Occupational Health and Safety including a sound knowledge of risk assessment and control processesHave an electrical “A” class electrical licenceHave electrical trade experience in a high-volume production environment preferably within the food industry.Sound problem solving and fault finding skillsExperience with Allen Bradley PLCs, VSDs and associated complex control systems would be advantageous.Have a Continuous Improvement mindsetBe team orientated and have demonstrated ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the business, working toward achieving shared objectivesExcellent time management, communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of SAP would be viewed favourably
