As the Financial Controller, you will be accountable for compliance and accounting of the Professional Beauty business. You will lead the accounting, advice the business on accounting and ensures external and internal reporting requirements (US GAAP / Local GAAP) as well as ensuring tax compliance. Also, in charge of the Corporate Governance of the Country, for an internal and external audit, for the statutory and financial statement preparation. In this full-time role, you will report into the Country CFO Professional Beauty.
Coordinates the statutory financial reporting process for the legal entity, including alignment with Shared Service Centers.
Ensure compliance with group accounting policies as well as local regulations.
Align with / provide input to the Global Finance Team / Tax Accounting group for periodic group reporting and consolidation purposes.
Advise local business control and management on statutory and tax considerations in support of the business decision.
Lead organizational changes and synergies in line with the simplification of the accounting process, including intercompany transactions
Own Corporate Governance including appropriate board meetings and minutes, information to key stakeholders, etc.
Act as overall audit engagement coordinator & primary point of contact to the external auditor.
Monitor tax compliance obligations in the responsible territory and arrange for timely preparation of direct and indirect tax filings.
Ascertain timely identification and communication of tax risk & opportunities, coordinate Legal and insurance obligations (risk management).
Ensure Treasury management in line with local business needs and with corporate guidelines.

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance & Accounting.
4+ years’ experience as a Senior Accounting professional in a multinational company.
Excellent understanding and management of P&L and Balance Sheet under U.S. GAAP and Local GAAP.
Strong Experience in the month-end close process of both P&L and B/S, experience in Transfer pricing is preferred.
Experience in working in multi-functional environments.
Strong experience with SAP and extensive use of Excel.
Able to work closely with the CFO, self-driven, and motivated.
