Body D&R; EngineerResponsibilitiesEngineer, design and develop production release for Body-in-White (BIW) functions, including:- Body closure sheet metal and hinging- Fascia / bumper- Underbody shield and wheel liners- Cladding & flares- Body exterior elements (moldings, badges, decals and vents)- Front lighting and electrical & signal lighting- Fixed glass, wipers, fuel door components and associated systems- Lead the process from initial design concept through full volume productionQualifications- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent- 3‐4 years automotive component engineering experience with BIW, closures, or exterior systems- Proficiency in CAD tools: Unigraphics NX, CATIA V5, and Teamcenter- Knowledge of high‐strength steel/aluminum forming, welding parameters and GD&T; - Experience with OEM orsupplier design release- Knowledge of DFMEA, Design Verification Plan & Report, and validation plans- Creation and editing of BoMs- Experience with compos...
