Accountant

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and compliant financial records in line with accounting standards and company policies
• Prepare journals and complete balance sheet reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Support compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including preparation of group financial statements
• Accounting for share capital transactions and share schemes, including equity reconciliations

Requirements

• Tertiary degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and qualified CA/CPA Accountant
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting/Finance functions within FMCG, Consumer Goods or Health Products (Desirable)
• Experience working within an NZX listed company would be advantageous
• Audit experience
• Understanding of NZIFRS accounting standards
