Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a team in New York, New York on a Contract to Permanent basis. This position focuses on managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate receivable records, and supporting timely billing and collection efforts. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling cash activity while working closely with internal partners to resolve account issues.

Responsibilities:
• Process customer invoices and ensure billing records are accurate, complete, and submitted on schedule
• Apply incoming payments to the appropriate accounts and reconcile cash receipts with outstanding balances
• Monitor receivables aging and follow up with commercial clients to secure timely payment
