Acoustics Engineering Intern (Nov 2026)

At AECOM, our acoustics specialists are at the forefront of advising clients on environmental and occupational acoustics, transport infrastructure noise, vibration, industrial noise control, and building acoustic design. Based in Sydney, you’ll be part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team delivering innovative solutions across a diverse range of projects.

How you’ll make a difference

• Assist with site visits to measure and observe acoustic conditions.
• Help perform acoustic predictions, calculations, and 3D modelling under guidance.
• Contribute to design recommendations and support research activities.
• Participate in client and design team meetings to share insights and learn from the team.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support the delivery of integrated solutions.
