Job Description
The role
- Handle all shipment bookings via different channels of communication, example via phone call & emails
- Attend to customers’ enquiries and provide quotes for freight charges via email wherever necessary
- Ensure all data (required by Operations Performance Assessment - OPA )are entered into Expeditors Transport Management Systems (ETMS) timely and accurately
- Provide truck details promptly and give timely feedback to customers on freight status.
- Ensure that system KPI events are updated promptly and on time.
- Check on customer credit status and established rates before shipment arrangement
- Good understanding of customers’ profiles and handling requirements to ensure 100% compliance, 100% customersatisfaction all the time.
