Overview

Etihad Airways requires dedicated Aircraft Ramp Agents to manage passenger baggage, operate ground support equipment, and ensure timely flight turnarounds at Zayed International Airport.

Daily Airport Tasks

• Stack passenger luggage securely inside the narrow belly of the aircraft so the cargo weight remains perfectly balanced during the flight.
• Guide the motorized belt machines safely up to the airplane cargo door using standard aviation ground hand signals.
• Remove transit bags from arriving flights rapidly to ensure connecting international passengers do not lose their personal belongings.
• Check the wheels and steering of the luggage carts every morning before driving them toward the main terminal building.
