Responsibilities The portfolio entails the strategic inbound and outbound management of inventory from supplier through the DC and finally to stores. Allocators are also responsible for formulating and executing a merchandise distribution strategy, as well as act as a point of contact for stores and operations for product requirements and require dedicated administration. Working with Planners and Buyers to fully implement the Merchandise Strategy. Store and merchandise-related (style and sizing) analysis. Monitoring the delivery of stock and taking appropriate action. Replenishment management. Effective communication with stores & operations. Monitoring product performance to take appropriate action. Regular store visits where appropriate. Qualifications Matric essential (+ Relevant Tertiary Qualification) Experience Required A high degree of numeracy and an analytical, detailed and strategic approach to work.
