Application Support Developer

Reporting to the Manager, IT Production Support, the Application Support Developer is responsible for contributing to the overall stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of production systems. This role combines technical expertise with a strong understanding of business processes and customer needs, driving effective resolutions to issues and identifying opportunities for system improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop production break fixes, system enhancements, and security upgrades for Sagen systems.
• Reverse engineer and understand system modules or code blocks for production fixes, enhancements, or modernization activities.
• Perform detailed root‑cause analysis for recurring technical and business‑related issues to mitigate future risks.
• Identify gaps in monitoring and improve logging mechanisms for better root‑cause analysis.
