Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Application Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the stability, performance, and availability of our critical business applications. This role requires a strong understanding of application environments, troubleshooting methodologies, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
**Responsibilities**
+ Provide timely and effective technical support for production applications, including incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis.
+ Monitor application health and performance using tools such as AppDynamics and Splunk, identifying and proactively addressing potential issues.
+ Manage and maintain application web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx, IIS, Tomcat), ensuring optimal configuration and performance.
+ Automate and schedule batch jobs and workflows using job scheduling tools, specifically Autosys.
