MAC Islamic School Calgary is expanding and currently hiring qualified Arabic teachers for both campuses:K–9 Bridgeland Campus at 64 12 St NEK–4 Ranchlands Campus at Al-Salam Centre, 6415 Ranchview Dr NWReporting directly to the school principal, the Arabic Teacher’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare yearly lesson plan, based on each student’s level. Maintain appropriate standards of behavior, mutual respect, and safety within the classroom. Managing a classroom of students, developing lessons, writing letters to parents, handling parent teacher conferences, and preparing report cards to communicate improvement of students. Prepared lesson plans by following the curriculum guidelines and accommodating teaching methods. Interpreted student needs, and consulted with students to provide solutions in a fast paced classroom.
