Assembly and Test Technician

Job Description Sagetech Avionics designs and manufactures low SWaP certified avionics — including transponders, IFF systems, and ACAS/DAA modules — for military and commercial aircraft, operating from our facility in Bingen, WA under an AS9100D Quality Management System.

Following a major DoD contract award for the APX-128 advanced IFF system, we are expanding our production team.

We are seeking a hands-on Assembly & Test Technician to join our manufacturing floor, working onsite and reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Objectives of this Role Assembly Build avionics hardware (transponders, IFF units, ACAS/DAA modules) from mechanical components, PCBAs, and harnesses per engineering drawings, BOMs, and assembly work instructions.

Perform hand soldering, wire terminations, and connector crimping to IPC J-STD-001 workmanship standards.
