Position Overview

Position Summary:

The Assistant General Manager (AGM) supports the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring top-tier food quality, guest service, and team performance. The AGM plays a critical role in developing team members, maintaining compliance, and driving profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations and leadership.
  • Assist with recruiting, training, and developing hourly team members and shift leaders.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and brand standards.
  • Monitor daily sales, labor, and inventory to achieve financial targets.
  • Enforce labor scheduling policies (minimum 4 staff per shift, labor cost targets).
  • Lead by example in delivering outstanding guest service and resolving guest concerns.
  • Supervise opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.
