Assistant Head Nurse

As an Assistant Head Nurse (AHN), you will play a key front line leadership role supporting safe, high quality, patient and family centered care within an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you will coordinate daily operations, support staff and patient flow, and serve as an on shift clinical resource and role model.This role is ideal for an experienced rehabilitation or acute care nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take the next step into clinical leadership.
Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, the AHN supports the delivery of evidence informed care by coordinating day to day unit operations while maintaining a patient and family centered focus. You will provide leadership across staffing, patient flow, and quality and safety initiatives, while supporting staff engagement, development, and interprofessional collaboration.
