Overview

SMG Family Internal Medicine Williamsburg is hiring an Assistant Practice Manager in Williamsburg, VA. The position is Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM day shift.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Practice Manager supports daily operations within the practice, providing supervision, performing administrative tasks, and managing functions to create an efficient work environment.
• Acts as lead during the Practice Manager’s absence; provides supervision and work assignments to staff based on practice needs; offers guidance regarding employee relations and staffing issues.
• Processes time and provides overall support to ensure the success of practice and management.
• Manages multiple projects and performs work assignments as needed.

Education

• High School Diploma

Experience

• Clerical – 3 years
• Relevant Experience – 1 year
