Assistant Produce Manager

The Assistant Produce Manager supports the Produce Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the produce department. This role helps ensure fresh high-quality fruits and vegetables are available assists with inventory and merchandising and provides excellent customer service to maintain a clean and attractive department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with ordering receiving and stocking fresh produce

• Ensure all produce items are fresh rotated regularly and properly displayed

• Support pricing labeling and promotional signage in accordance with store policies

• Help maintain cleanliness organization and food safety standards in the department

• Monitor inventory levels and assist in minimizing spoilage and shrinkage

• Provide training guidance and supervision to produce clerks and staff
