About the job
In this position, you will oversee procurement activities and inventory planning to ensure timely product availability and seamless supply chain workflows.
- Manage day‑time procurement operations and negotiate commercial terms with vendors to achieve cost efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels, par levels, and reorder controls to prevent stock shortages or excess accumulation.
- Collaborate with sales and warehouse departments to align on demand forecasting and stock requirements.
- Coordinate import processes and review shipping documentation to track shipments from order placement to arrival.
- Analyse purchasing expenditures and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and process improvements.
Skills and experience required
