Position Overview

Hope for Kids Childcare Center is hiring for 2 fulltime assistant teachers for our toddler and preschool classrooms and a part time assistant in our infant room. Assistant teachers work with a lead teacher to provide a welcoming and safe learning environment for children ages 6 weeks-5 yrs old. Duties include but are not limited to supervising groups of children by engaging them in play, keeping the environment clean and free of debris and safety hazards, caring for the basic life needs of small children (diapering, feeding, dressing), housekeeping duties (cleaning after meals, dishes, laundry) and stepping in when the teacher is unavailable.
