About the Role
York University School of Medicine is launching in 2028 and seeks an inaugural Associate Dean, Learner Affairs to provide strategic academic leadership for comprehensive learner support across the medical education continuum. Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership for learner support across the medical education continuum. Ensure a learner‑centred, inclusive, and culturally safe environment that prioritises learner and resident wellbeing, personal and career development, and success. Oversee the Learner Affairs Office and the delivery of integrated support services to promote learner wellbeing and resilience. Proactively address learner needs and oversee policies and processes related to learner support. Ensure compliance with provincial and national accreditation standards. Represent the School's learner affairs interests externally. Work closely with learners, senior leadership, faculty, staff, and clinical partners. Qualifications
