Autism Support Worker – School Based (Primary)

Milk Education is working with several Primary SEND specialist provisions in the Gateshead & Sunderland area to recruit Autism Support Workers who genuinely want to make a positive difference in the lives of children with complex SEND needs. This role focuses on providing support for learners with Autism & ADHD, as well as a range of other learning disabilities, including students who are non-verbal or have significant communication needs.

This role is suited to individuals who are patient, calm and confident in supporting students who require structured routines, clear communication strategies and consistent emotional support. Pupils may present with sensory processing differences, emotional regulation needs or behaviours that communicate unmet needs.
