Behavior Change Assistant

Behavior Change Assistant St. Coletta of Greater Washington is a non-sectarian, nonprofit organization that supports individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and secondary disabilities. We are currently seeking A Transition Services Coordinator who will be responsible for providing leadership and support services designed specifically for students with intellectual disabilities to facilitate the development of their career-based pre-vocational skills. Examples of Essential Functions

Assists in training staff in techniques of positive behavior intervention, picture symbol use to assist with student transition, development and use of student schedules, preparation and modification of materials as directed.

Assists in gathering baseline information for behavior change specialists and determine what programs may be in place for students who have been referred for behavior services as part of the behavior referral process.
