Boilermaker (ALP45) Fixed Term Role (end date September 2027)

The position is based in Gauteng at our premises in Nigel.

Purpose

• Commit with the Manufacturing targets given by the EPU Manager & Line Manager.
• Comply with the EHS standards, ethics and compliance rules; operational targets are based on Quality, adherence with planning and time spent on the products.
• Ensure a positive mindset based on teamwork and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Position, adjust components, tack weld and weld components to build frame sub-assemblies or full frames following standards, instructions, and respecting quality, cost and delay as defined in the manufacturing process.
• Manage straightening operations by local heating on sub-assemblies or frames to bring the structure to nominal dimension and geometry.
