Position Overview
Job Description & Requirements Responsibilities
- Prepare walls, ceilings, and other surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, removing old paint, and cleaning surfaces.
- Fill cracks, holes, and imperfections with suitable materials such as plaster or putty.
- Mix paints, coatings, and other materials to achieve the required colour, texture, and finish.
- Apply paint, varnish, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other painting tools.
- Ensure all painting work is completed according to project specifications and quality standards.
- Inspect completed work and perform touch-ups when necessary.
- Calculate material requirements and assist in estimating project costs.
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
