Position Overview
Targeted Comp: 65-90k based on experience
This Buyer is assigned commodities, services and other spend categories which include items of high technical content and which may be sophisticated in nature. Integrates cross-functionally to assure continuity of supply of required production materials and services in support of 95% customer On-Time-Delivery; also focuses heavily on identification and execution of purchased cost savings for assigned commodities and services.
Key Accountabilities
•Procures manufactured components, raw material and Aerospace hardware items as required through approved supply sources assuring that the following criteria are met:
• Competitive pricing
• On-Time Delivery to internal/external customer requirements
• All engineering and technical criteria is negotiated based on program requirements
• Blanket and/or long term agreements developed
• Adherence to purchasing standard operating procedures and policies
