Functional Activities – Specific Responsibilities

• A. Detailed Drawing Preparation

  Prepare detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings for aerospace structures, propulsion components, test articles, and ground support equipment under the guidance of senior designers. Produce complete drawing packages including part drawings, assembly drawings, and associated BOMs, ensuring compliance with applicable drafting standards and internal drawing conventions.

• B. Tolerancing and GD&T

  Apply GD&T principles to define dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, and inspection requirements on manufacturing drawings for aerospace components. Perform tolerance stack‑up analysis to ensure correct fit, alignment, and assembly. Review drawings for conformance with machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly constraints and coordinate with the design team to resolve manufacturability issues prior to drawing release.
