Position Overview
+ position to provide clinical education and hands-on training for cardiac sonographers, students, and new hires
+ Oversee protocol training, image/study supervision, review, competency assessments, skills development, and continuing education in TTE, TEE and stress echo
+ Collaborate with department leaders to ensure regulatory compliance, quality standards, and staff preparedness
+ Serve as a mentor and subject matter expert for new technologies, protocols, and procedures
+ Assist with program development and partnerships with schools, externships, and outreach efforts
+ Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound studies as needed to support team operations approximately 25-50% scanning of assigned patients. Expectations of scanning will vary according to number of sonographers in training.
