Carpenter

Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis in Oslo, Norway. The position is urgent and does not include accommodation provision.

Responsibilities

• Study plans and specifications to determine materials required and dimensions of the structure or fixture.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines or power saws.
• Assemble and fasten materials together to construct framework or sub-assemblies using glue, nails, dowel pins or screws.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings using carpenters hand tools and power tools.
• Inspect completed work to ensure conformance with specifications.
