• Transaction Handling: Accurately process customer purchases, including scanning items, calculating totals, and processing payments (cash, credit, etc.).
• Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues or concerns during checkout.
• Maintain Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies, such as receipt paper and bags.
• Basic Math Skills: Ability to handle cash, make change accurately, and process payments efficiently.
• Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact politely and professionally with customers.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately scan items, handle transactions, and spot discrepancies in pricing or payments.
