THE POSITION Manages highly complex Commercial General Liability claim investigations, including coverage issues, liability, compensability, and damages Determines when claims should be settled or litigated and implements appropriate resolution strategies Effectively manages loss costs and claim expenses Coordinates discovery and litigation strategy with staff counsel and attorneys Provides recommendations to management regarding complex CGL claim strategies, processes, and resolution approaches Maintains current knowledge of provincial/federal regulations, industry trends, and emerging risks impacting CGL claims
