Job Description
AIM AND PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of the role is to provide an effective and efficient provision of the day-to-day café service, including preparation of meals, maintaining a quality standard of hygiene, cleaning and a good level of customer service to students, staff and visitors.
KEY ROLES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
To assist with the preparation of meals.
To undertake simple cooking duties.
To prepare the dining area for dining purposes, ensuring it is fit for purpose and customer tables are clean.
To ensure counter is stocked, foods date checked, and stock rotated.
To prepare and serve food in the serving area.
To prepare and serve Barista style coffee to standards.
To provide a friendly and well-mannered customer service, being able to take time with all learners and assist with their needs where required.
