Position Overview
Responsibilities
- Ceramics tutoring & class designing
- Plan exhibitions and events including artist workshop
- Kiln loading and unloading, and firing of ceramic pieces
- Design and produce AIA ceramic product for retail purposes
- Set up, clean, and demonstrate the use of equipment and instruments
- Maintain inventories, order supplies in accordance with purchasing procedures
- Monitor and ensure a clean and safe working environment, with regular upkeep of work area, equipment, supplies, and materials
- Any other assigned ad‑hoc duties
- Candidates with at least a diploma or degree in 3D art-related qualifications, especially pottery
- Must possess intermediate knowledge of ceramics (throwing, trimming, and glazing)
- Must be able to make sake sets and teapot sets
- Experience with teaching ceramics is an absolute advantage
