2x Chef De Partie 


Permanent position in JHB - Western Suburbs


Location: JHB - Western Suburbs


Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to standard recipes and specifications.

  • Manage a designated kitchen section, such as Grill, Sauce, Pastry, Garde Manger, or Hot Kitchen.

  • Supervise, train, and mentor Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants.

  • Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory requirements.

  • Minimise food waste and ensure portion control.

  • Inspect the quality and freshness of ingredients.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety.

  • Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal changes.

  • Support the kitchen team during busy service periods and special events.
