2x Chef De Partie
Permanent position in JHB - Western Suburbs
Location: JHB - Western Suburbs
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to standard recipes and specifications.
- Manage a designated kitchen section, such as Grill, Sauce, Pastry, Garde Manger, or Hot Kitchen.
- Supervise, train, and mentor Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory requirements.
- Minimise food waste and ensure portion control.
- Inspect the quality and freshness of ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety.
- Assist with menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal changes.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods and special events.
