We are looking for an experienced Chef/Cook to join our team at Kool Beanz Mackay!  Our Mackay centres feature classrooms and ancillary facilities, a master chef kitchen and an inclusive outdoor environment that stimulate all the senses.

The Role:

The role of a chef in the early education and care environment is to plan and facilitate high quality, nutritious meals in a safe and hygienic environment. The chef will work in accordance with the Australian Dietary Guidelines. Educational and Care Regulations, National Quality Framework and State Department of Health.

About You:

We are looking for an experienced Early Childcare Chef/Cook who can do a variety of cooking processes. You must have experience in managing special dietary and allergy requirements, work skillfully within a budget and report weekly costs accurately.  You will take pride in maintaining a clean workstation.
