Position Overview

Our esteemed client is a well-established and respected law firm in Columbia, SC. They are seeking an experienced and highly motivated civil defense paralegal to support their growing Retail & Hospitality practice group.

Salary Range: $50,000 to $65,000 depending on civil defense experience.

Experience:

  • Civil litigation cases
  • Qualifications: A successful candidate will have 2 to 5 years of civil defense litigation experience
  • Proficiency with CMECF filing (Federal and State)
  • Experience with billing and ABA task codes
  • Ability to work closely with our attorneys
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Strong analytical, organizational and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with a litigation document management system
  • Communication and writing skills

    • Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience in Retail & Hospitality a plus
