Position Overview
American Driver is hiring CDL A drivers in Dalton, GA. This position is open to drivers who are new to the industry — paid training is provided and there are no costs to you to get started.
Dalton sits in northwest Georgia on I-75, one of the most active freight corridors connecting the Southeast to the Midwest. Drivers based here have access to consistent Eastern OTR lanes with steady freight volume year-round.
How Training Works:
- Fully paid 4–6 week program with an experienced mentor
- You're hauling real freight from week one
- Covers everything you need — ELD compliance, HOS rules, pre/post trip inspections, customer communication
- Weekly paycheck from day one of training
- After completion, you go solo at $0.56 CPM
A Typical Week:
- Dry van, no-touch freight
- Heavy drop and hook — around 60%
