Collection Officer

Responsibilities

• Regularly and persistently chase debtors by telephone, email, and letter.
• Ensure customers pay on time and negotiate repayment plans.
• Coordinate with the site team to seek all required documents (MIR / WIR) for the payment application, ensuring timely submission of payment applications and receipt of payment certificates.
• Communicate outstanding debts efficiently with customers and with internal teams such as accounts and sales.
• Identify incorrect invoices early, understand reasons, record, track, and recommend fixes.
• Reconcile customer accounts.
• Contribute to daily, weekly, and month‑end collection reporting and account reconciliations.
• Oversee the collection of customer accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Process and generate reminder letters and monthly statements, and obtain periodic balance confirmations.
