Construction Superintendent - Piping - Walkin Chennai

Responsibilities

Oversee and direct all piping construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards. Manage and coordinate the work of piping foremen, supervisors, and craft labor to optimize crew productivity and workflow. Interpret and implement piping drawings, isometric P&IDs, and material specifications to ensure correct installation. Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline from a recognized institution. Minimum 10 years of progressive experience specifically in piping construction within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power sectors. Proven track record of successfully managing large‑scale piping projects from fabrication to commissioning.
