Contracts Specialist

Elk Valley Resources (EVR) is seeking a Contract Specialist to join the Supply Chain Management team. The role is located in Calgary, Alberta, or Sparwood, British Columbia.

About the role

As a member of the EVR Supply Chain Management team, the Contract Specialist supports day‑to‑day market testing initiatives, contract formation, administration, and compliance activities for materials, equipment, and services across EVR’s Canadian operations. The specialist ensures contractual commitments are executed accurately, records supplier performance, and maintains documentation in accordance with Glencore policy and applicable legislation.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies.
• Develop and execute end‑to‑end competitive bid processes, including strategy development, proposal evaluation, award recommendation, contract formation, and administration.
