Controller

The Financial Controller directs the accounting and financial functions of Canada Pump and Power (CPP). The Financial Controller supervises the accounting department, maintains the financial systems and backup/filing systems. The Controller is responsible for the timely, accurate and complete preparation of all financial data including the year-end external accountant review.

• Ensure Administrative Personnel follow company processes and company Safe Work Policies, Procedures and Practices.
• Ensure Administrative Personnel work within Company, Customer, and other existing standards and regulations pertaining to their scope of work.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, coordination of systems and procedures, and the preparation of operating data and special reports including interim and year-end financial statements; maintain the company’s system of accounts and keeps books and records on all Company transactions and assets.
