Position Overview
Responsibilities:
- Analyze product and component cost structures and lead value engineering initiatives to reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Manage strategic procurement, negotiate with suppliers, and develop supplier performance metrics to optimize pricing and reduce risks.
- Align procurement and inventory policies with cash-flow targets, implement just-in-time principles, and monitor inventory KPIs.
- Develop and manage order-based procurement planning processes to ensure timely ordering of critical components.
- Oversee ERP/MRP system configuration related to procurement and cost data to ensure accurate production planning and cost control.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, finance, and IT teams to drive value engineering and procurement efficiency.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or related.
