Customs Entry Writer

We're working with a mid-sized freight forwarder to recruit a Customs Entry Writer for their team in Torrance, CA.

If you're an experienced Customs Specialists that thrives on autonomy and is driven by professional growth, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit full customs entries for air & ocean freight shipments
• Ensure compliance with all US Customs regulations and import requirements
• Classify goods and review key shipping documents (commercial invoices, packing lists, etc.)
• Liaise with customs authorities, carriers, and clients to ensure smooth clearance
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve clearance issues
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations and industry changes
