Data Engineer (PySpark) Contract Position Location: New Zealand Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in PySpark and big data technologies. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop data pipelines using PySpark Build and optimize ETL workflows Work with large datasets in distributed environments Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience in PySpark Experience with Hadoop / Spark ecosystem Good knowledge of SQL Experience with data warehousing concepts Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP is a plus) Good communication skills Nice to Have: Experience with Airflow Experience with Databricks Knowledge of Kafka or streaming te...
