Job Description
The Principal Data Links & Communications Engineer will provide technical expertise supporting the development, integration, testing, and deployment of Air Force communications and tactical data link systems, with a focus on high-frequency (HF) communications and tactical networking capabilities. This individual will partner with Program Managers, Chief Engineers, and Integrated Product Teams to evaluate system performance, define interoperability requirements, support communications architecture development, and ensure compliance with DoD and Air Force standards. Responsibilities include supporting developmental and operational test activities, assessing communication interfaces, providing guidance on secure and cryptologic communications systems, and working with joint-service stakeholders to ensure mission-critical data link capabilities are successfully integrated and fielded.
