Position Overview

Day Technician SMP2 Electrical (UAEN)

Industry: Steel Manufacturing

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Trade Certificate (ITI) in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
  • 5 years of experience (Diploma holders) or 8 years of experience (Trade Certificate holders) in electrical maintenance within a steel plant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Steel Melting Plant (SMP) and Billet Casting operations.
  • Hands‑on experience with Medium Voltage Substations, Transformers, Switchgears, PLCs, Drives, Motors and automation systems.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems preferably SAP.
  • Good understanding of maintenance planning, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance practices.
  • UAE National candidates only.
