Dental Billing Specialist

Job Description

Dental insurance billers are responsible for – maintaining current insurance practices, requirements, and forms; verifying claims are going out clean and proper reimbursement is received for services provided; processing and following up insurance claims; and documenting and coding information, interpreting dental records. Primary duties of a dental insurance biller include: reviewing patient accounts and determining appropriate billing distributions; and reviewing past due bills and following up with patients and insurance companies on past due accounts.

Skillset

• You must have experience working with insurance companies, and have extensive knowledge of different types of coverage and policies.
• You must have excellent multitasking skills, with the ability to work on many projects at once.
